I saw a pixel duck during my Sunday stroll along the river! :-)
Origami pixels duck mosaic.
I first created the pattern for this pixel duck on my computer, then folded small squares of paper into origami pixels of the right colors, and joined them by folding them on their back to create this cute paper duck.
A fun part was to take my paper duck to the river nearby (La Marne, Saint-Maur des Fossés, near Paris in France) to take pictures. :-)
Have you tried origami pixels yet? Please send me pictures of your mosaics so that I can add them here. Thank you!

Origami Pixels is a new fun and easy way to make origami tiles that can be joined by folding (no cut, no glue, not tape) to compose beautiful origami mosaics. This type of origami pixels was invented by 2017 by Stéphane Gigandet, and other types have been designed before. The Origami Pixel Unit page tells more about the history of origami pixels and shows how to fold them and join them.
